Choline helps normal liver function
HEPATOHELP® is a unique combination of structural elements: choline, phospholipids and vitamins: B1, B2, niacin, B6, B12, and E, essential for the normal function of the liver.
Choline contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function.
One of the functional consequences of dietary choline deficiency in humans was the development of fatty liver (hepatosteatosis) because a lack of phosphatidyl choline limits the export of excess triglyceride from liver. Also, choline deficiency in humans was associated with liver damage (elevated serum amino transferases). So, it is extremely important to ensure the necessary doses of choline through diet and supplements, especially during the periods of acute stress that can impair the liver function.
Niacin, Vitamin B12, Vitamin B6 contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Vitamin B6 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Phospholipids contribute to maintaining the integrity of hepatocytes from the toxic outcome of daily factors (alcohol consumption, pollution, smoking, food additives, physical and nervous stress, etc).
